Facebook Status Updates: How To Tag Friends & Fan Pages

This screencast was produced by David Erickson for the e-Strategy Internet Marketing Blog. To tag a friend or fan page, type the @ symbol in your status update and then immediately start typing the friend or fan page you want to tag. A drop-down menu will appear from which you can choose the person or page you want to tag.

First, you need to already be a friend or fan of the person/page you want to tag. Assuming that, just type the @ symbol and the immediately type the name of the person or page you want to tag.
YOU MUST NOT include a space between the @ symbol and the name, e.g. @name of person.
im having the same problem please help i put the @ sign and no drop down list PLEASE PLEASE HELP ASAP
is there an app you have to add in order to tag ppl, cause i cant seem to do it…I type @ and the there is no drop box that appears….help!
